A musician since the age of five, Ryan Saranich is an accomplished saxophonist, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer whose career has taken him to stages and studios around the world. Proficient on drums, percussion, bass, acoustic and electric guitar, keyboards, organ, and multiple woodwinds, Ryan has established himself as a versatile and in-demand performer across a wide range of musical styles.
After developing his craft at Northwest School of the Arts and the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, Ryan continued his studies at the renowned Berklee College of Music. His career began with successful stints as a session musician in Boston and Los Angeles, leading to opportunities to collaborate with celebrated artists and producers — most recently including the legendary Alan Parsons.
Touring internationally as a multi-instrumentalist with Brit Floyd, Ryan performed over 1,000 shows across the globe. After nearly a decade with the production, he now focuses on a range of new musical ventures and collaborations.
As a solo artist, Ryan has released six projects as a bandleader, and his playing and writing can be heard on over 100 recordings as a sideman. His work as a composer, arranger, and producer has reached audiences on nearly every continent through radio, live performance, and digital media — including projects for GoPro, ROG, and LEGO. He has contributed to the popular children’s series Danny Go!, serving as an arranger and musician on Danny Go!'s jazz release, "Jazz-Ma-Tazz", and has also been involved in Broadway cast recordings, including How To Dance In Ohio and other notable productions.
Ryan's playing is featured on the Emmy-Nominated (2022) and Grammy-Nominated (2023) recordings of Randy Rainbow.
Ryan is currently available for touring, recording sessions, and collaborative projects worldwide.
